A Wild Ride to Wild Oak in Mitchell, South Dakota
Day three of the trip and another long drive leaving Wyoming and arriving in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This day was going to be tough brining back so many memories from the eight years I spent in Rapid City. It's where I met my wife 18 years earlier and shared so many wonderful memories. In fact her mother still lives on a ranch there and after our recent separation just 3 days ago, seeing all the places we visited brought back so many great memories that ended so sadly.

After a quick trip through the old stomping grounds, and crossing a second time zone, I was in Mitchell South Dakota, the home of the "World's Only Corn Palace" and Wild Oak Golf Course. The Oak is an amazing track, built nearly 100 years ago with the original nine holes cut around a river valley.
